MACON, Ga. (Dec. 1, 2011) – The ETSU men’s and women’s basketball teams will combine to appear four times throughout the 2011-12 season on ESPN’s signature multi-screen sports network, ESPN3, as announced by the A-Sun office on Wednesday.
The men’s team makes its first appearance on Feb. 13 inside the MSHA Athletic Center against Jacksonville. The network will broadcast the Bucs next when they travel to Lipscomb on Feb. 20, before airing ETSU’s regular season finale at home against Florida Gulf Coast on Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
The Lady Bucs air on ESPN3 for their final game of the regular season, when they take on the Eagles on Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. as part of a basketball double-header inside the MSHA Athletic Center.
In total, ETSU makeup for a third of the A-Sun’s 12 regular season games to be aired on ESPN3. Eight additional A-Sun tournament championship games – four men’s and four women’s – will also be covered as the network will broadcast both quarterfinal rounds.
