JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 29, 2015) – A crowd of over 150 ETSU basketball fans gathered inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center on Thursday night to take in Holding Court 3.0, a special “pasta and practice” event.
Along with being treated to a special Italian meal, fans were able to watch a special one-hour, closed practice, listen to head coach Steve Forbes talk about the upcoming season, visit with Buccaneer players, and participate in a special live auction which featured several unique ETSU men’s basketball experiences.
“I want to thank everyone that came out tonight to be a part of this event,” Forbes said. “We have great fans here at ETSU and the response to this evening is a prime example of the support we receive. We can’t do it without our fans and supporters, and we are appreciative of what they bring to our program.”
Holding Court 3.0 is the final preseason promotional event prior to the start of the men’s basketball season, which will being next Thursday evening, Nov. 5 against Tusculum in an exhibition game at Freedom Hall. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
