Pajama party and $1,000 cash giveaway, along with free coffee and donuts for first 500 students highlight morning game

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 11, 2015) – In less than a week, the ETSU men’s basketball team will host the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in a nationally-televised game on ESPN2 as part of ESPN’s 24-hour College Hoops Tipoff Marathon.

The game will tip off bright and early at 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Nov. 17 inside Freedom Hall. As part of this special event, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced some special promotions that will take place for the game.

First, fans encouraged to participate in a “Pajama Party” promotion and are asked to wear their favorite pajamas to the game. During the game, $1,000 cash will be given away, which includes two $250 cash prizes that will be awarded during in-game promotions, as well as cash-strapped mini-ball tosses to the crowd.

In addition, thanks to presenting game sponsor Dunkin’ Donuts, the first 500 students to arrive for the game will receive free coffee and donuts. The Dunkin’ Donuts vendors will remain on site throughout the game with breakfast favorites available for purchase.
