SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 1, 2016) – The Southern Conference announced Tuesday morning that ETSU senior guard Ge’Lawn Guyn (Lexington, Ky.) and junior guard T.J. Cromer (Albany, Ga.) have earned All SoCon honors from both the league’s coaches and the Southern Conference Sports Media Association.

Guyn, who currently leads the Buccaneers and is second in the SoCon with 18.1 points per game, was selected to the coaches’ team and the media’s first-team squad. Meanwhile, Cromer, who ranks second on the squad with 15.1 points per game, was also selected to the coaches’ team and was named to the media’s second team.

Guyn and Cromer have helped lead the Bucs to a strong regular season, and they will be the No. 2 seed at the SoCon Tournament in Asheville, N.C., after posting a 21-10 overall record and a 14-4 SoCon mark this season. The Bucs will play at 6 p.m. on Saturday, facing the winner of Friday’s matchup between No. 7 seed Mercer and No. 10 seed The Citadel.

The 2016 Southern Conference Men’s Basketball Championship presented by General Shale begins Friday at 5 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, N.C. The championship game is scheduled for Monday at 9 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2.
