JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 3, 2016) – A crowd of over 150 ETSU men’s basketball fans gathered inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center on Thursday night to take part in the annual Holding Court event.

Along with being treated to a special Italian meal, fans were able to watch a unique one-hour, closed practice, listen to head coach Steve Forbes talk about the upcoming season, visit with Buccaneer players, and participate in a live auction which featured several unique ETSU men’s basketball experiences.

“This was another great event and is an example of the excitement and anticipation surrounding our team this year,” Forbes said. “Our fans are the best and the participation tonight is an example of the support we receive all year long. We can’t do it without them, and we appreciate all they do for us.”

Holding Court was the final preseason promotional event prior to the start of the men’s basketball season, which will begin on Saturday, as the Bucs host Mars Hill in an exhibition game at Freedom Hall. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
