Things to Know for Friday’s hoops doubleheader

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Dec. 20, 2017) – This Friday, the ETSU men’s and women’s basketball teams will be part of a unique, doubleheader day of hoops, as the women’s team hosts Northern Kentucky at 2 p.m. inside Brooks Gym, followed by the men’s team hosting Georgia Southern at 7 p.m. inside Freedom Hall.

Below are some important “things to know” for Buccaneer fans as they plan for Friday’s games.

  • Tacky Holiday Sweaters – Fans are encouraged to wear their tackiest holiday sweaters to both the women’s and men’s games on Friday. Make your impression and have the best sweater in the stands when the Bucs take to the floor.
  • Video Streaming Information – Fans wanting to watch Friday’s games can do so thanks to video streaming courtesy of the Buccaneer Sports Network. The women’s game will be available on SoConDigitalNetwork.com, while the Watch ESPN App and ESPN.com will have the men’s basketball broadcast.
  • Clear Bag Policy – Fans are reminded that a new Clear Bag Policy is in place for both men’s and women’s basketball games at Freedom Hall and Brooks Gym this year, and extra security measures will be in place at the gates. Fans are asked to arrive early to avoid long lines. The Clear Bag Policy went into full effect on Dec. 1. Click here for more information.
