JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 8, 2018) – With the ETSU men’s basketball team opening the home portion of its 2018-19 schedule tonight when the Buccaneers host Hiwassee College at 7 p.m. inside Freedom Hall, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has released its Top “Things to Know” presented by Citizens Bank.

No. 1 – Game sponsor: Tonight’s game is being presented by Pizza Hut.

No. 2 – Ticket information: Season tickets and single game tickets are still available for the 2018-19 season. Fans can learn more by visiting and clicking on the ticket link. Meanwhile, student ticket pickup continues until noon on Thursday of home games at the Student Organization Resource Center (SORC), located inside the second floor of the CPA. For students who do not pick up a seated ticket, they may also display a valid student ID at the gate of Greene Stadium for admission to the grass berm on the north side of the stadium.

No. 3 – Clear Bag Policy and Enhanced Security: ETSU has a clear bag policy for all home basketball games inside Freedom Hall. In addition, new security procedures including metal detectors and security wands will be employed at entry gates. Please arrive early to insure access to your seats before tipoff.

No. 4 – Student Shuttle Service: In cooperation with the John son City Transit, ETSU athletics will once again provide shuttle services from the ETSU campus to Freedom Hall beginning at 6:20 p.m. for games at 7 p.m. The full schedule with pick-up locations and return trip information can be found by clicking here.

No. 5 – Centennial Celebration: This season, the Bucs will be celebrating their 100th year of basketball. Fans are encouraged to pick up a commemorative 100-year poster at the games and be on the lookout for special 100-year celebration moments throughout the season.
