Petras Balocka

About Petras: Possesses the ability to play inside and outside, with the size of a post player and the ball-handling skills of a small forward … despite his size, likes to run the floor in the transition game.  Prior to ETSU: Played 11 years at the Vilnius Basketball School before coming to the United States to play at Jones County High School in Georgia … played his final season of high school basketball at Community Christian School in McDonough, Ga. … prior to Community Christian, he averaged 17 points, 12 rebounds and four assist on way to all-region honors … in Lithuania, he played for four years on the Junior National Lithuanian Team. Personal: Majoring in Business Management … son of Vytas and Jurate Balocka … born Oct. 8, 1986. Coach Bartow’s Evaluation: “Petras is a big, strong, versatile player who is very physical, but still has a great sense for the game. He has a lot of agility for his size, he’s a good inside-out player and he’s a great passer. We felt like we needed a strong, tough player next year with the loss of Dillion (Sneed) to graduation.”
