About Marcus: A junior college transfer who is expected to step in and add some offensive firepower to the Bucs’ lineup … a high-percentage shooter who has both an outside scoring game and ability to break to the basket … can also rebound well from the guard position. 2011-12: Finished third on the team with 10.8 points per game, and had a team-high 37 made 3-pointers on the year … played in all 31 games during the year, and started in 22 contests … finished the season with a 15-point effort in the A-Sun semifinals against Belmont (3/2) … regained his offensive touch during a three-game winning streak at the end of the season, averaging 18 points a game during that time, while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 3-point range ... netted 13 points in the win over UNF (3/1) in the A-Sun quarterfinals ... had a game-high 23 points in the win over FGCU (2/25) ... Posted a second straight impressive performance with 15 points in the win over Stetson (2/23) ... had a crucial 16 points off the bench in the Bucs’ win over Lipscomb (2/20), hitting on four 3-pointers on the night ... scored 20 points nad had a career high two blocks in the loss to Jacksonville (2/13) ... set career marks for rebounds (8) and steals (4) in the win over UNF (2/11) ... picked up his frst career block and scored a game-high 18 points in the loss to Belmont (1/23) ... etted 12 points in the win over UNF (1/16), including scoring five straight and giving the Bucs the lead with a 3-pointer during that stretch with only five mintues left in the game ... cored 10 points and collected four rebounds in the win over USC Upstate (1/4) ... set a new career best with four made 3-pointers and scored a game-high 20 points in the win over Milligan (12/19) ... matched his season best with five rebounds and scored 12 points in the loss to FGCU (12/3) ... had 11 points in the loss to Stetson (12/1) ... posted a game-high 26 points and hit on 9-of-17 shots in the win over Charlotte (11/22) ... broke out offensively against Troy (11/19), scoring a game-high 27 points and playing a career high 32 minutes ... made his first start as a Buc against Appalachian State (11/15), scoring nine points in 26 minutes of action ... made his ETSU debut against Virginia Tech (11/12), scoring nine points in 24 minutes of play. Prior to ETSU: Averaged 23.8 points while shooting an impressive 47 percent from the field last year at the JuCo level … hit on 44 percent of his 3-point attempts and was an impressive 86 percent at the foul line … was an all-state selection in his last season at the JuCo level.
