About Poderis: Talented post player with the ability to score with his back to the basket ... quality size and has the potential to be a solid post defender … can also face up to the basket and score in a multitude of ways. 2012-13: Sat out the entire year and took a medical redshirt season following a foot injury. 2011-12: Finished fourth on the team with 4.6 rebounds a contest, playing in all 31 games and starting in seven … averaged 20.5 minutes per game and 4.0 points per contest … played a career high 34 minutes and posted a personal best 11 rebounds, while scoring six points in the win over Stetson (2/23) ... scored eight points, had three rebounds and two steals in the win over Kennesaw State (2/4) ... had a career high three blocks in the loss to Lipscomb (1/21) ... collected nine rebounds in the win over Kennesaw State (1/9) ... had a career high 10 rebounds and scored four points to go with two blocks in the win over Mercer (1/7) ... reached his career high with 14 points, while also grabbing six rebounds and dishing out an assist in the win over USC Upstate (1/4) ... matched his career bests for rebounds (7) and field goals (3) in the loss to Virginia Tech (11/12). 2010-11: Set career highs for rebounds (9) and blocks (3), while netting eight points in the win over Milligan (12/19) ... started for the second straight game, scoring eight points and grabbing four rebounds in the loss to Tennessee Tech (12/7) ... Played a season high 29 minutes and started for the first time this year, scoring nine points and grabbing five rebounds in the loss to FGCU (12/3) ... scored six points and had five blocks in 21 minutes of play in the loss to Troy (11/29) ... had a career high three blocks, grabbing six rebounds and scoring four points in the win over Troy (11/19) ... came off the bench to once again provide valuable minutes for the Bucs, scoring seven points while blocking a shot and grabbing a steal in the win over Appalachian State (11/15) ... played in 27 games, averaging 7.3 minutes a contest ... came off the bench late in the game to grab a critical rebound and his one of two free throws in the double overtime win over Lipscomb (2/19) ... did not play against Kennesaw State (1/29) due to an illness ... grabbed a season high five rebounds against Lipscomb (1/21) ... had a season high four rebounds and three blocks in the win over Stetson (1/10) ... matched his season high with 14 minutes of action against Southern Miss (12/22) ... had five points, two boards and two blocks in the win over Milligan (11/27). 2009-10: Had his best offensive game at ETSU, scoring  14 points and hitting the  game-winning free throw with 14 seconds left against USC Upstate (1/4) ... posted career bests for points (6), free throws (4), rebounds (7), assists (1) and blocks (2) in the win over Jacksonville (12/21) ... played then the best game of his young career against Louisville (11/21), with a personal-best six points and five rebounds in a season high of 18 minutes of playing time ... had a career-best two blocks and grabbed three boards in 16 mintues of action against UTC (11/17) ... made his ETSU debut and played 16 minutes against Appy State (11/14), grabbing three rebounds.  High school: Originally from Lithuania, but played at Ridgewood High School in Port Richey, Fla., the same school that produced former ETSU standout Andrew Reed … Poderis guided his high school to four straight 20-wins seasons, and as a junior he averaged 18.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 67 percent from the field and 44 percent from 3-point range … averaged 19 points and 10 boards a game as a senior … scored over 1,500 points during his prep career, finishing as the school’s second leading scorer all-time … was the Sunshine Athletic Conference Player of the Year his final two seasons, and a second team All-State pick as a senior.
