2005 Indoor: Won the 3,000m (11:18.94) in her first meet as a Buccaneer at the Appalachian Invitational ... placed second in the 3,000 meters at the Clemson Tiger Invitational with her best time of the season in the event, 10:37.43 ... placed ninth in the 5,000 meters (18:52.41) at the Niswonger Invitational.

Prior to ETSU: Maggie transferred to East Tennessee State from Virginia Intermont College ... Hunter was a national qualifier in NAIA cross country in 2003 as well as a national qualifier in NAIA indoor track in the winter of 2004.

Prep: Hunter earned five letters between indoor and outdoor track and field and three in cross country at Cave Spring High School in Roanoke, Va. ... she was team MVP in cross country, indoor track and field and indoor track and field in 2002-03 ... was also track and field team MVP in 2001-02 ... Hunter also earned all-conference and all-region honors at Cave Spring.

Personal: Born on Aug. 14, 1984 ... Maggie is the daughter of Bill and Sue Hunter ... plans to major in Sports Management.
