2006 Cross Country: Competed in only two meets was the fourth Lady Bucs runner to finish at the A-Sun Championships.

2006 Outdoor: Redshirted

2006 Indoor: Finished third in the 3,000-meters at the Appalachian Invitational.

2005 Outdoor: Finished 12th in the 1500 meters at the Charlotte 49er Classic in 4:51.91 placed 20th in the 3,000 meters at the Sea Ray Relays in 10:56.13 posted a top-10 finish in the 5,000 meters the Raleigh Relays with a time of 19:05.60.

2005 Indoor: Redshirted

Prep: Was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and a two-year letterwinner in track and field ... during her sophomore season, Carney finished second in the county cross country meet and also was a member of the county championship 4x800 relay team ... During her junior season, she finished third in the regionals, advancing to the state meet where she finished in the top 40 ... was named to the 2003 Knoxville News-Sentinel cross country second team ... as a senior, Carney qualified for her second state meet with a seventh-place finish at the regional championships ... finished 20th at the state meet ... also a tremendous student, Carney maintained a 4.0 GPA and graduated early in the fall of 2004.

Personal: Daughter of Phil and Amy Carney majoring in biology born 8/19/87.
