JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- The men's golf team finished 12th at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational with a three-round 879 (291-296-292) at the Forest Heights Country Club Golf Course in Statesboro, Ga.
The University of Georgia (270-274-285--829) won the event by 17 strokes over Clemson Univeristy (283-281-282--846). Georgia's Bubba Watson won the individual medal after carding a three-round 203 (66-67-70).
The Bucs were led by Thomas Lee who finished tied for 27th with a three-round 218 (71-76-71). Chris Wisler was the second best ETSU player, finishing tied for 32nd. Wisler finished one stroke behind Lee by carding a three-round 219 (71-74-74).
Adam Riddering (77-72-72--221/T-43), Adam Gary (76-74-75--225/T-54) and Patrick Beste (73-80-77--230/73rd) also competed for the Bucs.
ETSU will return to action at the Bell South Intercollegiate in Raleigh, N.C. from April 14-15.
