ETSU Men's Golf Team Adds Broyles Scholarship

Johnson City, Tenn. - East Tennessee State University's men's golf team will be benefiting from a new scholarship it has been announced by the Athletics Department. Funds raised at the fifth-annual Roadrunner Market Benefit Golf Tournament have been donated to the program for the scholarship by Mr. Warren Broyles. The scholarship will be named the Warren and Carolyn Broyles Men's Golf Scholarship. Mr. Broyles presented head men's golf coach Fred Warren, and ETSU Director of Athletics Todd Stansbury, a check for $17,000 to fund the scholarship. The tournament was played at the Tri-Cities Golf Club on September 26. Holston Distributing Company also played a significant role in the tournament as a sponsor.
