NEW ORLEANS, La. Johnson was joined at the top of the leaderboard by fellow Buccaneer Jeremy Hobson (Thonotosassa, Fla.), who carded rounds of 75 and 73 to tie for 8th with a four-over score of 148. The efforts of Johnson and Hobson helped put East Tennessee State's men's golf team in a tie for third place with a team score of 301-297=598. The Bucs are tied with Southern Mississippi and trail second-place Wake Forest (292-293=585) and first-place Southern Methodist (292-292=584).
