ETSU men currently tied for 15th at Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational
Mills Saturday, April 03, 2004 AUGUSTA, Ga. (April 3, 2004) - Darkness led to the postponement of second-round play at the Cleveland Golf/Augusta State University Invitational Saturday, as the East Tennessee State men's golf team finds itself currently 15th on the leaderboard at 13-over par 292, 10 strokes behind first-place UCLA.Individually, UCLA's Steve Conway and Wake Forest's Bill Haas blitzed through the Forest Hills Golf Club to tie for first place at 6-under, while ETSU's top individual performer so far has been junior Cennydd Mills (Cardiff, Wales), who is tied for 29th at 1-over. UCLA currently holds a comfortable six-stroke lead over Wake Forest. As for the rest of the Bucs, freshman Rhys Davies (Bridgend, Wales) finished tied for 34th at 2-over, while junior Jeremy Hobson (Thonotosassa, Fla.) tied for 42nd at 3-over. In addition, sophomore Noel Kavanagh (Westport, Ireland) tied for 73rd and freshman Andrew Paduch (Johnson City, Tenn.) is tied for 83rd. The tournament will wrap up Sunday with the remainder of the second round, followed by third-round play. Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational
