Friday, May 15, 2009

ALVATON, Ky. (May 15, 2009) - Poor weather conditions forced the suspension of play in the second round of the NCAA Central Regional Friday at The Club at Olde Stone.

The ETSU men's golf team is currently midway through the second round, and remains in eighth place on the team leaderboard. The Buccaneers are just four strokes out of fifth place, needing to finish in the Top 5 to earn a spot in the NCAA Championships.

Weather permitting, second and third round play will continue on Friday. Fans can watch live scoring at Golfstat.com.
