MURRELLS INLET, S.C.  (March 9, 2014) – The ETSU men’s golf team returns to action this week as the Bucs begin play at the General Hackler Championship on Monday from the TPC Myrtle Beach.

The Bucs were led by sophomore Chris Hickman (Centreville, Md.) as he tied for 16th after totaling a 4-under-par 212 (73-68-71) for the tournament.

Freshman Mateusz Gradecki (Oborniki Śląskie, Poland) looks to build off his final round score of 1-under 71, while sophomore Adrian Meronk (Wroclaw, Poland) finished the Puerto Rico Classic at 2-under-par 214 (75-69-70) and tied for 27th.

Kent State and Tennessee won a share of the team title in 2013 as they registered a team score of 9-over-par 873.

ETSU won the 2006 and 2010 General Hackler Championship team titles, and placed fifth in the tournament a year ago. Hickman (T14th) and Meronk (T17th) both recorded top-20 finishes in 2013.
