JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Oct. 10, 2014) -- Leading up to this weekend's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, the ETSU men‘s golf team will be featured in a "Getting to Know" segment on ETSUBucs.com.

Our next golfer to be featured is junior Adrian Meronk (Wroclaw, Poland). Meronk has enjoyed a successful fall season thus far as the Buccaneer golfer has won a pair of individual events – Inverness Intercollegiate and Wolfpack Intercollegiate. The Buccaneer standout enters the weekend ranked No. 25 on the Golfweek rankings and leads the team with a 70.7 scoring average. In his first two-plus season at ETSU, Meronk has earned a pair of all-conference honors, while also being selected to the PING All-Region Team last year. Meronk tied for seventh at the 2012 World Amateur Team Championship and shot a 10-under-par 276 at this year’s World Amateur Team Championship in Japan. Prior to arriving at ETSU, Meronk was the No. 1-ranked player in 2011 according to the World Junior Golf Rankings.
