ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. — Cayman Ratliff didn’t need 18 holes to win on Sunday. Nine was enough, thanks to Mother Nature.

Ratliff successfully defended his championship at the Carter County Bank East Tennessee Amateur golf tournament when the final round was rained out with the leaders on the back nine.

Sunday’s scores reverted to the front nine, and Ratliff wound up winning the 21st annual tournament at Elizabethton Golf Course by two strokes.
