2010-11 Season: Was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team after compiling a 74.3 stroke average…Participated in each of ETSU’s 10 events during the year…Had a low round of 69 on two separate occasions…His low finish of the year was a tie for 10th at the General Hackler Championship, where he compiled a three-round total of 222 (74-69-79)…Finished tied for 15th at the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational where he finished at 218 (73-74-71)…Tied for 17th at the season ending Atlantic Sun Championship after a total of 216 (70-74-72).

Prior to ETSU: A three-year letterwinner at Wakefield High School…Lawson was named CAP 7 Conference Player of the Year in 2009 after compiling a 34.78 nine-hole stroke average…Fired a nine-hole score of 30 at TPC Wakefield Plantation which is a Cap 7 Conference record.. He is a two-time Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT) All-American…Qualified for the 2010 U.S. Amateur Championship…Finished tied for eighth at the 2010 North Carolina Amateur Championship.
