SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Nov. 11, 2014) – ETSU saw four players earn SoCon All-Conference honors, including redshirt sophomore Joao Ramalho (Monte Santo, Brazil), who became the second player in program history to be selected league Player of the Year.

In addition to being named SoCon Men's Soccer Player of the Year, Ramalho earned a spot on the All-SoCon First Team.

Joining Ramalho with all-conference recognition were seniors Nick Muth (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Anthony Wojas (Auxerre, France), and freshman Robin L'Excellent (Digosville, France).

Muth and Wojas earned spots on the All-SoCon Second Team, while L'Excellent was selected to the All-Freshman Team.

Ramalho, the Bucs' leading scorer (11 G, 2A), led the Southern Conference with 11 goals, and ranked in the nation's Top 20 for goals per game for much of the season (0.61). His 11 goals matched David Geno's program single-season record for goals. Geno scored 11 goals in 2012 en route to being named Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer Player of the Year.

Ramalho's selection to the All-SoCon First Team marked the sixth consecutive season ETSU saw a player garner league first-team honors.

Muth, the Bucs' leader for minutes played, emerged as a centerpiece of ETSU's defense this season, helping anchor a back liine that recorded three clean sheets. The Knoxville, Tenn., native recorded one goal and one assist. He and Ramalho were the only players to start all 18 contests for ETSU.

Wojas finished the year as the Bucs' second leading scorer behind Ramalho, recording three goals and two assists. Making 15 appearnces and 12 starts, Wojas was one of just seven ETSU players to eclipse the 1,000-minutes plateau.

L'Excellent appeared in 17 games for the Bucs, and made 15 starts. The Digosville, France, native recorded two goals for ETSU, scoring against Wofford and VMI.
