Prior to ETSU: A four-year letterwinner from Karns High School in Knoxville, Tenn., Bowers garnered the honor of Rookie of the Year in 2006 ... He was also named All-District in 2007 and team MVP in 2008 ... Bowers played club soccer for FC Alliance, and helped guide his team to back-to-back state championships as well as winning the prestigious Disney Showcase in 2008 ... He was also a member of the Tennessee 91 ODP Team.
Personal: Son of Rick Bowers and Khadija Mahdoudou ... born on August 1, 1991 ... plans to major in pre-medicine.
