BRISTOL, Tenn. (April 22, 2012) – The ETSU men’s tennis team entered the 2012 Atlantic Sun Championship as the No. 1 seed after going undefeated in conference play during the regular season, and capped off its sixth-consecutive title on Sunday with a 4-1 victory against second-seeded North Florida in the finals at the Bristol Racquet Club.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 22, 2012) – The ETSU men’s and women’s tennis teams will play for the 2012 Atlantic Sun Championships at the indoor courts of the Bristol Racquet Club, as overnight rain and continual inclement weather have forced the shift in venue.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 21, 2012) – The top-seeded ETSU men’s tennis team advanced to its sixth-consecutive A-Sun Championship final, progressing on by No. 5 USC Upstate 4-0 in Saturday’s semifinal at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center.

(April 20, 2012) – The No. 1-seeded ETSU men’s tennis team will battle No. 5-seeded USC Upstate in a rematch of the two sides’ regular season finale on Saturday in the Atlantic Sun Championships semifinals at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center. Match time has been moved to 8 a.m. due to the threat of inclement weather.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 19, 2012) – Winners of its last 12 matches, the No. 1-seeded ETSU men’s tennis team begins its quest for a sixth-consecutive Atlantic Sun Championship crown this weekend at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center.

MACON, Ga. (April 19, 2012) – Finishing the season with a 9-0 A-Sun record – its fifth undefeated conference season since joining the league in 2006 – and earning the No. 1 seed in this weekend’s A-Sun Championships, the ETSU men’s tennis team bombarded the conference’s postseason honors and awards lists by earning six All-Conference selections with Director of ETSU Tennis Yaser Zaatini being named Coach of the Year.

MACON, Ga. (April 17, 2012) – Capping off his perfect A-Sun season with a 9-0 singles record in ETSU’s 5-2 defeat of USC Upstate last weekend, freshman Rogerio Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
