ATLANTA (October 11, 2003) - Fernando Fiuri (Villa Maria, Argentina) advanced in singles action as Oscar Posada (Valencia, Venezuela) and Alejandro Salazar (Arequipa, Peru) in doubles during the second day of competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational.
Fiuri eliminated J. DePaulo, 6-2, 6-0 to advance in the tournament. He moves on to face Noah Tyler of Georgia Tech tomorrow morning in the single B finals.
Posada and Salazar defeated the pair of Bobusic and Gonzales from UGA, 8-4 to move on to the semifinals and will face Trevor McLeod and Joao Menano also from Georgia Tech.
Buccaneer action at the Georgia Tech Invitational Tournament begins Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.
