KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (February 4, 2006) - The ETSU men's tennis team fell to No. 16 Tennessee, 4-3 at the Goodfriend Indoor Tennis Center in Knoxville on Saturday. The Bucs are now 4-3 on the year while the Volunteers improve to 2-1 with the win.
In singles action, ETSU tied the match at one when freshman Enrique Olivares defeated Adam Hubble, 6-1, 6-4 at the No. 4 singles position. In the No. 1 position, Oscar Posada was defeated by Bobby Cameron, 6-1, 6-4 and Kaden Hensel defeated Juan Crosa, 6-2, 7-6 in the No. 3 position to give the
"The match lasted about five and half hours and went down to the wire. We were really close to breaking through, but we just fell short," said head coach Yaser Zaatini.
