“[Ramirez] played an excellent tournament,” said ETSU assistant coach Ricky Rojas. “He bounced back really well from the UTC tournament and we hope he continues this outstanding play.”
Virginia’s Julen Uriguen, the draw’s top seed, won his semifinal match against Brian Welnetz of Penn State, but could not continue on to the finals due to an injury.

“Overall is was a pretty good weekend for the team, especially for [Ramirez] and [Bonnevalle],” added Rojas. “Hopefully they can continue this into regionals next week.”
