ETSU Defeats Tennessee Tech In Men's & Women's Tennis

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Both the men's and women's tennis teams defeated Tennessee Tech with the men's team defeating the Golden Eagles, 5-2, while the women's team upended Tennessee Tech, 7-2.

The Tennessee Tech women fell to 2-4 on the season. The men's team, defending Ohio Valley Conference Champion and 1999 NCAA Tournament participant, fell to 10-8.

"I was really proud of our effort up and down the line," men's head coach Dave Mullins said. "We haven't peaked yet but we did enough to get the victory."

ETSU (8-5) will return to action on Friday, March 31 at 2:30 p.m. when they travel to Winthrop. The women's team (6-3) will return to action when they host Appalachian State on April 1 at 10 a.m.
