Johnson City, Tenn.-- East Tennessee State men's and women's tennis teams will be represented in the ETSU Fall Collegiate Tournament finals being held at the Liberty Bell Tennis Complex this weekend. In singles action, Franciso Diaz, a junior from Weston, Fla., will be facing Olof Hallstrom from Anderson College in the Flight 4 final on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at Liberty Bell. In the semi-finals, Diaz defeated Sergio Tejada of Virginia Intermont, 6-4 and 6-2 to advance to the finals. On the women's side, Aimee Villavicencio, sophomore from Lexington, Va., is facing Gardner-Webb's Molly Hoeffner in the Flight 4 Final at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Villavicencio defeated Louise Holmivk of Tennessee Tech, 6-3 and 6-4 to advance to the finals. The ETSU Fall Collegiate will start at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with men's and women's singles matches. Doubles matches will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Liberty Bell Tennis Complex.
