GREENSBORO, N.C. (April 3, 2005) - The Buccaneer men's tennis team finished its suspended match against the Spartans Sunday afternoon with a sweep of singles for a 7-0 final. East Tennessee State picks up their 13th straight win is now 15-3 overall and 8-0 in the SoCon, while UNC Greensboro falls to 3-17, 1-7.

The match against East Tennessee State was suspended Saturday night by inclement weather shortly after 7 pm. The teams waited five hours to start the match due to several heavy downpours during the afternoon. Play began at 6 pm with doubles action and a win of the point by ETSU. However, shortly into the singles matches, heavy rain arrived again and the match was suspended until Sunday evening.

When play resumed, the Bucs swept all six singles matches in straight sets. With his win at No. 2, Felix Insaurralde (Asunción, Paraguay) collected his 29th singles win of the season and is tied for ninth place on ETSU's top-ten singles wins list for a season.

The Bucs return home to host Georgia Southern on April 9 in a noon match.
