DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 8, 2010) - After its brief two match homestand this past weekend the No. 59 ETSU men's tennis team returns to road for a 9 a.m. contest Tuesday morning against No. 48 UNC Wilmington in Daytona Beach, Fla.

ETSU (4-5, 2-0 A-Sun) cruised to in its league openers Friday and Saturday as the Bucs dropped both Kennesaw State and Mercer, 7-0.

Overall, ETSU - who extended its 36-match A-Sun and 47-match Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center winning streaks over the weekend - has played better lately after facing a ruthless non-conference schedule that featured seven ITA nationally ranked programs.

Individually, a number of Bucs look to carry on their winning ways. Junior Grega Teraz (Mojstrana, Slovenia), who is ranked No. 85 in the latest ITA singles rankings, has won six out of his last eight contests, while teammate Jeremy Bonnevalle (Keerbergen, Belgium) continues to anchor the back end of the lineup at No. 5 with three straight victories.

UNCW (7-3, 1-0 CAA) enters the week after falling to No. 29 Georgia Tech, Sunday. In fact the Seahawks have loss back-to-back matches for the first time this season, after winning their previous six contests.

Individually, Kosta Blank leads Wilmington with an 8-2 dual match record. The Seahawk freshman has won his last six individual competitions, all at  No. 5.
