Nationally-ranked Bucs prepare to face No. 73 North Florida

Thursday, March 27, 2014

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 27, 2014) – The ETSU men's tennis team will face one of its toughest tests in league play Friday, March 28 as it visits No. 73 North Florida. ETSU has won its last six matches, while North Florida is riding a five-match win streak of its own.

GETTING UP TO SPEED

It has been over a month since the 59th-ranked Buccaneers (9-8, 4-0) have suffered a loss. Since Feb. 22, ETSU is 6-0 and has won all but two points during that stretch.

Senior Roger Ordeig (Gurb, Spain) will enter Friday's match riding a five-match win streak in singles play. Meanwhile freshmen David Biosca (Sant Fruitos De Bage, Spain) has won four straight. Together, the two have won five consecutive doubles matches.

Both the Bucs and Ospreys (9-9, 2-0) are unbeaten in league play.

ETSU is 3-0 at home this season.
