ETSU tennis teams receive ITA recognition
SKILLMAN, N.J. (Aug. 12, 2013) – The ETSU men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as individual members of each squad, have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their academic achievements in the classroom.
Both Buccaneer teams earned the ITA All-Academic Team award after attaining cumulative GPAs of 3.20 or above during the 2012-13 academic school year. The women’s squad achieved an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.599, while the men posted a solid mark of 3.423.
ETSU was one of three schools in the Atlantic Sun conference to receive the team award, along with Kennesaw State and Stetson.
