Fall 2004: Compiled a 5-5 record in singles action ... made the quarterfinals of the USC Fall Invitational ... placed second in the singles A bracket of the ETSU Fall Collegiate Classic Tournament ... went 3-0 in doubles with non-ETSU partners ... won his doubles bracket at the ETSU Fall Collegiate Tournament.

2003-04: Went 5-5 overall in singles action during the season ... named as the teamís Academic Co-MVP ... named to the SoCon Academic and Buc Honor Roll for the academic year ... also earned deanís list honors.

2002-03: Ochoa earned a record of 10-3 in singles action playing primarily at No. 6 with a record of 7-0 ... undefeated in Southern Conference singles play, 5-0 ... in doubles play had a 9-10 record ... played primarily with Fernando Fiuri in the third slot, recording an 8-7 overall record ... earned deanís list honors ... named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and an ITA Scholar Athlete.

2001-02: Ochoa played five singles matches during his freshman campaign, going 2-3 in action at the fifth and sixth flights... Ochoa was perfect in Southern Conference matches with a 2-0 record after garnering victories over Jason Nius of Appalachian State and Ted Nevett of VMI... had a 1-3 record in doubles matches at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, playing with teammates Alejandro Salazar, Moises Serrano and Diego Iglesias.

Prep: Ochoa received the 2000 Athlete of the Year award at San Luis Gonzaga High School ... he placed second in the Pereira 2000... Ochoa was coached by Raul Gomez at the Gomez Tennis Academy in Sarasota, Fla., and went to high school at Colegio San Luis Gonzaga.

Personal: Born on July 19, 1982 ... majoring in economics ... son of Liliana and Luis Ochoa.
