2005-06: Compiled a 19-13 singles record...went 5-2 in conference play…was an unanimous selection for the All-Conference first team…defeated No. 29 San Diego’s Thomas Liversage, 6-3, 6-4…posted a 5-5 singles record in fall tournament action…defeated Jordan Delass of Georgia Tech, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, before falling to No. 86 Strahinja Bobusic of Georgia 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 at the Southern Collegiate...earned a first-round bye in the ITA Regional Indoor Championships…defeated Liron Strauss of Wake Forest, 6-3, 6-2 before falling to No. 88 Peter Rodriguez of Duke, 6-3, 6-0…advanced to the semi-finals at the Las Vegas Invitational, after defeating Sergui Modoc of Fresno State, 6-1, 6-1 and Kaden Hensel of Tennessee, 6-3, 6-2, before falling to Ryan Rowe of Illinois, 6-2, 6-4... was paired with Lisandro Picardo in doubles, the duo compiled a 14-9 overall doubles record and were a perfect 5-0 in conference play.


2004-2005: Posted a 14-4 singles record in the fall ... won eighth of his last nine matches heading into the spring ... made the semifinals of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships ... fell one match shy of the qualifying round at the Icy/Hot ITA All-American Tournament ... won the A-1 consolation bracket at the USC Fall Invitational ... won the flight two finals match against  Andrew Eklov of No. 2 Illinois, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, at the UNLV Fall Invitational ... went 1-5 in doubles. Posted a 18-4 singles record in the spring...defeated No. 22 Ockie Oosthuizen of Tennessee, 6-4,6-4...earned SoCon player of the week for his performance during the week of March 9, winning matches against College of Charleston and The Citadel...named SoCon athlete of the month after posting a 5-1 singles record in the No. 2 position during the conference tournament and a perfect 5-0 doubles record with partner Lisandro Picardo...named Most Outstanding Player at the tournament and was a first team all-conference pick in singles and second team all-conference selection in doubles.


2003-04: Joined the team in the spring of 2004 ... compiled a 15-5 overall record and a 9-1 record in the conference playing at No. 6 ... won matches against opponents from No. 54 Tennessee and No. 53 Louisville ... recorded an 18-6 doubles record playing primarily at No. 3 with teammate Fernando Fiuri ... won his No. 3 doubles match 8-5 at the NCAA tournament against No. 16 TCU with partner Fiuri ... named to the All-SoCon Second Team in both singles and doubles.


Prep: Insaurralde was ranked No. 1 in singles in Paraguay between the ages of 12-18 ... participated in the Pan-American Games in Winnipeg in 1999 ... member of the Paraguay Davis Cup Team in 1998, 1999, and 2001 ... attended high school at Immaculee Conceptión ... transferred from the University of Mexico in Monterey.
