2006-07: Sat out the entire season due to injury.

2005-06: Competed in the No. 1 position for the Bucs…finished his junior season with a 12-21 record…went 5-3 in conference play…was named to the All-Conference first team…earned an ITA pre-season ranking at 34…garnered a spot in the 2005 ITA All-American Championships main draw...defeated Marco Born of MTSU, 7-5, 6-4, before falling to No. 44 Adam Holmstrom of Denver 3-6, 6-1, 1-6...had a first round bye in the UNLV Fall Classic, defeated David Campbell of UNLV, 6-3, 7-5 before falling in a hard fought match to No. 107 Rueben Gonzales of Illinois 6-4, 7-6…finished the fall with a 4-7 singles record…compiled a 16-10 record in doubles defeating teams from Duke, Auburn, Wake Forest, and No. 50 San Diego State with partner Juan Crosa.

2004-05: Broke into the ITA pre-season ranking at 105 ... went 10-4 in singles action and 1-3 in doubles ... advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships by defeating No. 60 John Isner of Georgia, 6-4, 6-4, but then fell to No. 35 Scott Brown in three sets, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 ... became the first Buccaneer to compete in the main draw of an ITA national tournament since Gustavo Gomez in 2000, when he won three qualifying matches to advance to the main draw of the Icy/Hot ITA All-American Tournament. Posada won his first match of the main draw against No. 14 Alex Slovic from the University of Washington, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (5), but then fell to No. 60 John Isner, 6-7(6), 6-4, 6-4 ... placed second at the UNLV Fall Invitational. Pre-season No. 33...posted a 15-4 record in the spring...named SoCon player of the week for the week of March 29, posting three league victories over Furman, Appalachian State, and Chattanooga...named the TIAA-CREF SoCon student-athlete of the week for the week of March 30...named SoCon athlete of the month for March...won 14 straight matches. 

2003-04: Finished his freshman campaign with a 27-10 singles record ... went 9-1 in SoCon tournament play, seeing time at the No. 1 and No. 2 slots ... won the Singles A Bracket at USC Fall Invitational  ... lost only four matches in dual competition ... defeated Wake Forest’s Andrew Hamar, ranked No. 77 individually, 5-7, 6-4, (13-11) ... also won matches against opponents from No. 54 UT, No. 53 Louisville, and No. 56 Old Dominion ... compiled a 17-11 doubles record with partner Alejandro Salazar ... named Co-MVP of the team for the 2004 season ... earned player of the week honors for his performance during the week of April 13 when he won three matches against Furman, Chattanooga, and Davidson ... named as the SoCon’s Freshman of the Year ... at the SoCon Tournament was recognized as its MVP and named to the All-SoCon First Team in both singles and doubles earning him SoCon Athlete of the Month for the month of April ... earned accolades in the classroom as well by achieving dean’s list honors and Buc Honor Roll standing.

Prep: Member of the Venezuela Davis Cup Team in 2000 through 2002 ... was the number one player in the Venezuela 18 and under category in 2000 and 2001 ... ranked as high as 10th in singles and doubles in the World Juniors Rankings in 2001 ... played in three major tournaments: the French Open (2000-2001), Wimbledon (2000-2003), and the U.S. Open (2000).
