2010-11: Went 5-6 overall in singles competition, going 4-1 in dual play and 3-0 in A-Sun play... recorded a 2-0 mark at the No. 4 singles position and 2-1 record when playing at No. 6... put together a 19-12 doubles record, while teaming with Juan Ramirez to go 16-12 in doubles play, the second-highest win total among any ETSU duo... earned doubles victories over then-No. 50 Binghamton and then-No. 1 Virginia in consecutive days (Jan. 28-29)... went 2-3 overall against doubles opponents from ITA ranked teams... earned A-Sun All-Academic honors.

2009-10: Finished the season with a 15-6 overall singles mark including an impressive 9-1 record in A-Sun play...Teamed with Daniel Isaza to earn a 19-9 overall doubles record including a perfect 10-0 in A-Sun play...The duo had an 11 match winning streak towards the end of spring play.

2008-09: Posted a 14-7 overall singles record…Went 9-3 in dual match action…Played the majority of his dual matches at the No. 5 singles position, for a 7-3 record…Record a 17-11 mark in doubles action…Competed in most of his doubles matches with teammate Daniel Isaza…Akser and Isaza combined for a 13-10 doubles record, including a 10-7 dual match mark…Went 8-1 in A-Sun singles action…Picked up ranked wins at No. 32 North Carolina and No. 68 Nebraska.

Prior to ETSU: Competed in the Sweden F4 Features... won first-round match of F4 agains Jeffery Mira Svennsoon in straight sets (6-2, 6-1)... had 11 singles and 13 doubles during his ITF career.

Personal: Born April 10, 1988... majoring is business... son of Tore and Marie Akser.
