Track and field closes out NCAA Regional action
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 24, 2012) – The ETSU track and field team’s three representatives at the NCAA East Regional preliminary first round competed on Thursday at North Florida’s Hodges Stadium, but fell short of posting a time to advance into Friday’s National Quarterfinal.

ATLANTA and CLEMSON, S.C. (May 12, 2012) – Freshman Katerina Vodova (Humpolec, Czech Republic) took first place in the women’s long jump at the Clemson Qualifier, while the ETSU men’s and women’s track and field teams posted three top 15 finishes at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday and Saturday to conclude the first two meets of a final three-meet weekend.

(May 5, 2012) – Freshman Marek Navratil (Olomouc, Czech Republic) cleared a career-best height of 2.09m to take first place in the men’s high jump and highlight the ETSU track and field program’s outing on Saturday at the Bob Pollock Invitational hosted by Clemson University at the Rock Norman Track and Field Complex.

(May 5, 2012) – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced the members of its first-ever men’s and women’s outdoor track and field Academic All-Conference Teams on Friday, with former Science Hill standouts Jasmine Foster (Johnson City, Tenn.) and Lexie Burley (Johnson City, Tenn.) being voted to the women’s team, and throwers Justin Burton (Bastian, Va.) and Cornell Sneed (Miami, Fla.) landing on the men’s team.
