JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 10, 2018) The ETSU track and field teams looked back on a memorable 2018 season on Sunday, at their annual awards ceremony. Among the highlights for the Bucs in 2018 were seven Southern Conference championships, five outdoor records, four indoor records, and more.

Atkins Sets ETSU Record in National Debut

EUGENE, Ore. (June 7, 2018) -- Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) produced an historic result on a big stage. Making her debut at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships on Thursday, the junior set a new ETSU record in the women's 100 meter hurdles and earned 2nd Team All-American honors.

Atkins Poised for National Championships

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 6, 2018) ETSUs Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) makes her debut on college track and fields biggest stage when she competes in the women’s 100 meter hurdles Thursday at the NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Ore. The semifinal round begins at 8:02 pm EDT and Atkins will run in the third and final heat race of the day. The top two finishers from each heat and the next two best overall times advance to the finals at 7:12 pm on Saturday, June 9.

Carrier Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

(May 29, 2018) For her unparalleled work in the classroom, the community, and in competition, ETSU senior Macy Carrier (Bluff City, Tenn.) has been named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District Women’s Track/Cross Country Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

ETSU captures third consecutive Commissioner’s Cup

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (May 29, 2018) -- For the third consecutive year and fourth time in program history, the ETSU men’s athletics program was awarded the Southern Conference Commissioner’s Cup, which is the all-sport trophy that is presented to the conference’s best all-around men’s program.
