BLACKSBURG, Va. (Jan. 23, 2015) – The ETSU track & field program notched a pair of top-two event finishes on day one at the Hokie Invitational inside Rector Field House on the Virginia Tech campus.
Highlighted on the women’s side, senior hurdler Dede Edgecombe (Spartanburg, S.C.) continued her tear in the women’s 60 meter hurdles on Friday. For the men, junior Thomas Miller (Lithonia, Ga.) followed up last weekend’s event title in the men’s 800 meter run with another strong showing in a different event. In the men’s 600 meter finals, Miller recorded a runner-up 1:20.84 time among 20-plus event participants.
