The Bucs will aim to continue the momentum after a strong showing at the Charlotte 49er Classic last weekend, March 19 – 21, to kick off the 2015 outdoor season. Over the three days of competition, ETSU totaled 10 top-three event finishes including exceptional performances by junior thrower Verena Tobis (Dusslingen, Germany) and junior sprinter Keturah Williams (Alpharetta, Ga.) which led to them earning Southern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Weekly Honors on Wednesday. Also in Charlotte, the Blue & Gold had sophomore Nathan Rivera (Knoxville, Tenn.) win the men’s decathlon and junior jumper Ashley Kessler (Knoxville, Tenn.) win the event title in the women’s pole vault.
