2011-12: A multi-event specialist, Scott established collegiate bests in the 60m (7.27), 100m (11.34), 400m (49.57), 1000m (2:48.45), 1500m (4:41.16), 55m hurdles (8.12), 60m hurdles (8.44), 110m hurdles (15.16), 400m hurdles (56.41), high jump (2.01m), pole vault (4.10m), long jump (6.79m), shot put (12.23m), discus throw (34.09m), javelin throw (47.77m), heptathlon (4,953) and decathlon (6,662)... broke the ETSU record in both the heptathlon and decathlon... made his ETSU debut at the Appalchian Indoor Invite, earning his first collegiate top 10 by taking ninth place in the high jump (Dec. 2-3)... broke the ETSU heptathlon record at the CNU Captain's Invitational and Multis, totaling 4,834 points and earning silver in the event (Jan. 20-21)... named A-Sun Field Athlete of the Week (Jan. 25)... finished top 10 in the 60m hurdles at the 34th annual Niswonger Invitational (Jan. 27-28)... reset the ETSU heptathlon record again at the A-Sun Indoor Championships, scoring 4,953 points and finishing second in the event by just one point to earn Second Team All-Atlantic Sun honors (Feb. 17-18)... broke the ETSU decathlon record in his first meet of the outdoor season, totaling 6,618 points at the 49er Classic to earn second place (March 15-17)... named A-Sun Field Athlete of the Week (March 21)... took fifth in the 110m hurdles and fourth in the 400m hurdles at the Tennessee Challenge (April 7)... was not denied the top spot at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships, resetting the ETSU decathlon record again to take gold and earn First Team All-Atlantic Sun honors in the event to help the Bucs to the outdoor title (April 20-21)... qualified for the USA Jr. Outdoor Championships in the decathlon, totaling 6,662 points to take fifth place and earn USA Jr. All-American status, the highest finish ETSU has ever had at the Jr. Championships in program history (June 15-16).
Prior to ETSU: Lettered in indoor track and field, outdoor track and field and boys volleyball at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Va.... part of the district champion volleyball team at Princess Anne his junior year, and was named all-district for indoor and outdoor track and field... named an AAU All-American... selected all-district and all-region for indoor and outdoor track and field during his senior year in 2010-11.
