2008 Outdoor: Enjoyed a strong outdoor season ... finished first

in the 110-meter hurdles at Furman and ran a leg in the 4x100-

meter relay which placed second at Liberty ... finished fourth in the

decathlon at the Outdoor Conference Championships, ending the

rigorous two-day event with 5,668 points.

2008 Indoor: Competed in four meets ... placed fourth in the

heptathlon at the conference championships ... tallied 4,246 en route

to scoring four points for the Buccaneers.

2007 Outdoor: Took home gold at the A-Sun Championships

in the decathlon ... finished first in the 110-meter hurdles at the

Highlander Challenge.

2007 Indoor: Named third team all-conference in the heptathlon ...

competed in the 55- and 60-meter hurdles, 1000-meters, long jump

and shot put.

 

Prep: Named Blount County MVP, most valuable athlete and most

valuable runner ... attended Heritage High School where he was

coached by Kelly Beason.

 

Personal: Is the son of Susan Kersey ... born on April 17, 1987 ...

majoring in finance.
