2008 Outdoor: Had a solid outdoor campaign ... appeared in five

meets, including a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles at

Furman ... scored four points (fourth-place) in the decathlon at the

Atlantic Sun Championships.

2008 Indoor: Competed in four meets ... tallied 3,284 points in the

heptathlon at the conference championships.

2007 Outdoor: Named third team all-conference in the decathlon,

tallying 5042 points in the event ... competed in the pole vault,

110-meter hurdles, and high jump during his rookie outdoor season.

2007 Indoor: Posted a season-best pole vault mark of 14-00

at the Niswonger Invitational ... placed eighth at the conference

championships in the pole vault.

 

Prep: Mountain Lakes Champion in the pole vault in 2004-05 ...

attended Unicoi County High School where he was coached by

Randy Brewer.

 

Personal: Majoring in physical education ... is the son of Brad and

Robin Briggs ... born on March 8, 1987.
