2011-12: Competed at 10 different meets, earning top 10's in each event he ran in... set personal bests in the 3000m (8:38.52), 5000m (14:57.07), 10,000m (32:28.63) and 3000m steeplechase (9:41.82)... made his ETSU track & field debut at the Appalachian Indoor Invite, taking fourth place in the 3000m (Dec. 2-3)... took eighth in the 3000m with his indoor-best time of 8:45.64 at the 34th annual Niswonger Invitational (Jan. 27-28)... took seventh in the 5000m at both the Penn State Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup (Feb. 4) and A-Sun Indoor Championships (Feb. 17-18)... began the outdoor season with a top five in the 5000m at the 49er Classic (March 15-17)... earned his best finish of the year at the Georgia Relays, taking silver in the 10,000m with his personal-best time (March 23-24)... earned bronze in the 3000m steeplechase at the Georgia Tech Invite (March 30-31), followed by another bronze a week later in the 3000m at the Tennessee Challenge (April 7)... took fifth in the 5000m and 10th in the 10,000m at the A-Sun Outdoor Championships (April 20-21)... earned bronze in the 5000m at his final meet of the year, the Bob Pollock Invitational (May 5).

Prior to ETSU: Attended Hawaii Pacific University, competing in cross country and track & field... named Men's Cross Country Freshman of the Year in the Pac West Conference.
