Prior to ETSU: A four-year track & field star at Oak Ridge HS under coaches Eddie Anderson and Sam Roberts... an all-state selection in 2009 and 2010... a 2009 World Youth and Nike Indoor qualifier... a 2009 AAU National qualifier and finalist... a 2010 New Balance qualifier and finalist... had personal bests of 10.66 in the 100m, 21.97 in the 200m, 23'6" in the long jump, 46'6.75" in the triple jump, and 6.88 in the 60m dash... a two-time Knoxville Urban League participant.
Personal: Born June 30, 1993... son of Janet Short... plans to major in exercise science.
