KODAK, Tenn. (April 26, 2017) – In the first-ever Smoky Mountain Challenge, the ETSU baseball team fell to Tennessee 8-1 at Smokies Stadium on Wednesday night in front of the biggest attendance for the Bucs this year – 3,351 fans.

Biosca named SoCon student-athlete of the week

ETSU falters in ninth inning as Mountaineers deliver walk-off homer

BOONE, N.C. (April 25, 2017) – In a back-and-forth battle, the ETSU baseball team faltered in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Mountaineers delivered a walk-off, solo home run at Smith Stadium to give Appalachian State the 8-7 victory on Tuesday in Boone, N.C.

Women’s golf finishes third at SoCon Championship; Loy named SoCon Player of the Year

LEXINGTON, S.C. (April 25, 2017) – After canceling the second round of the Southern Conference Championships in Lexington, S.C., the ETSU women’s golf team finished in third place at 30-over 606 while sophomore Loy Hee Ying (Baru, Kulaijaya, Malaysia) placed tied for fourth at 2-over 146 in the wet conditions at the Country Club of Lexington on Tuesday.
