Men’s soccer opens conference play Tuesday against No. 18 Furman

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 26, 2016) – To open its Southern Conference play, the ETSU men’s soccer team will travel to Greenville, S.C. on Tuesday, Sept. 27 to face the 2015 SoCon Tournament winners Furman at Stone Stadium at 7 p.m.

Bucs close out the Southern Intercollegiate Sunday

ATHENS, Ga. (Sept. 25, 2016) – The ETSU men’s tennis team wrapped up its opening competition of its fall season Sunday at the Southern Intercollegiate. The Bucs collectively posted a record of 5-4, including a 3-1 record of singles play.

Czudkova and Loy shoot low; ETSU finishes top-10 at Lady Paladin

GREENVILLE, S.C. (Sept. 25, 2016) – On the final day of the 2016 Lady Paladin Invitational, Dominika Czudkova (Cesky Tesin, Czech Republic) and Loy Hee Ying (Baru, Kulaijaya, Malaysia) recorded team lows, and the ETSU women’s golf team moved into the top-10 after shooting its best round in Greenville, S.C. on Sunday.

Women’s Soccer falls on the road at Mercer, 3-2

MACON, Ga. (September 25, 2016) – Despite recording two second half goals and nearly doubling the shots of the Mercer Bears, the ETSU women’s soccer team was unable to record the victory as they fell 3-2 on Sunday afternoon.

ETSU Football announces Bowman Jewelers Player of the Game awards

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 25, 2016) – Following each game during the 2016 college football season, ETSU head coach Carl Torbush will announce the Bowman Jewelers Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Game, along with the “Effort Play of the Game” and the “Scout Team Player of the Week” awards.

Defense leads ETSU to five-set victory over Samford

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Sept. 24, 2016) – A day after dropping a five-set match in its conference opener to Furman, the ETSU volleyball team rebounded to win a five-set tilt at Samford Saturday evening (25-19, 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 15-9). The win is the first for the Bucs in the SoCon as well as the first 3-2 victory for the team since last season’s conference tournament.

Men’s Tennis turns in an undefeated day in Athens

ATHENS, Ga. (Sept. 24, 2016) – In total, the ETSU men’s tennis team competed in nine matches Saturday on day two of the Southern Intercollegiate. The Bucs turned in the best performance they could as they won all nine contests and every member of the team that competed was a part of at least one victory.

Loy leads ETSU with career day in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (Sept. 24, 2016) – Loy Hee Ying (Baru, Kulaijaya, Malaysia) shot a career-best 6-under 66 and moved into the top-10 individually, while ETSU women's golf improved five spots at the Lady Paladin Invitational on Saturday.
