JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.-- Senior Chris Wisler and sophomore Thomas Lee are in a six-way tie for 16th at even-par following the second round of the Carpet Capital Classic from The Farm Golf Course in Dalton, Ga.
The 22nd ranked Buccaneers have shot a combined 585 (+9) through two rounds, 19 shots behind the leaders, the 24th ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Wisler shot a 2-over par 74 on the day, while Lee shot his second consecutive round of even-par to give them both second-round totals of 144. The Buccaneer duo is tied with fifth-ranked Jeff Quinney of Arizona State, sixth-ranked Johan Kok of South Carolina, Matt Weibring of Georgia Tech and Simon Fitton of Tennessee for 16th place individually.
Sophomore Adam Riddering shot a 3-over par 75 in the second round, placing him in a five-way tie for 36th. Senior Pat Beste finds himself in a five-way tie for 41st after firing a strong even-par 72 on the second day. Freshman Anders Hofvander is in a four-way tie for 68th after shooting a 5-over par 77 in the second round.
The third round of the Carpet Capital Classic will be held Sunday, October 8 at The Farm Golf Course from Dalton, Ga.
