In the Solon High School record books, Meghan ranks first in career kills (528), second for kills in a season (226 in 2001), fifth in career blocks (77) and sixth for solo blocks in a season (34). Connolly also gained valuable experience while playing for the Akron Canton Elite (A.C.E.) club volleyball team for three seasons. Connolly joins Kristi Robinson (Knoxville, Tenn.) and Renee Vesey (Paw Paw, Michigan) in East Tennessee State's 2002 recruiting class. "Meghan brings a considerable amount of athletic ability to our team," commented Webb. "She is a fast player that will help us both offensively and defensively. Meghan plays with very high intensity and has a great desire to win. She also has benefited from playing in a high-level club system."
