JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 18, 2004) - In a partnership between the East Tennessee State Athletic Department and Oxford, Miss.-based ticketing company TicketsXchange, tickets to Buccaneer athletic events are now available through the ETSU athletic website, www.ETSUBucs.com. Fans can purchase tickets on the front page of the website or on the tickets page.

            Currently, only men's basketball tickets are available online, but there are plans to expand the service to other Buccaneer athletic events.

            "We think this service will be very convenient for fans, allowing them to purchase tickets at non-traditional hours," commented ETSU ticket manager Chris Barnhill. "This gives ETSU fans access to the ticket office 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays."

            In addition to ordering online, fans can still purchase tickets at the ETSU Ticket Office, on the second floor of Memorial Center. For ticket information or questions about online ticketing, call the ticket office at 423-439-ETSU (3878).
